Interior Commercial Build Out Benefits

There are a variety of reasons you should consider an interior commercial build out for your St Paul business. There are the obvious reasons: an interior commercial build out will make your business look better. But there are several other advantages to having this type of commercial renovation done.

First of all, an interior commercial build out is a great way to use the space you have more effectively. For example, if you have a showroom to show off the products you sell, you could expand the space and make your showroom even bigger. You could help with the room’s flow, and you can make it more comfortable for customers to move around in.

An interior commercial build out is also a great way to make more space for any new equipment your company might be purchasing in the near and distant future. Newer equipment could also increase your company’s productivity, which means more for your bottom line.

Also, an interior commercial build out is excellent for improving your employees’ morale. There is nothing quite like a fresh and new office space to help boost creativity and productivity. For example, having a new break room to get lunch or other refreshments could give your employees a much-needed break. And after a few minutes of clearing their head, they could go back to work fully refreshed and ready to tackle the next problem.

An interior commercial build out could also help your company’s image. You could have a nice and new office space or warehouse space to present to both current and potential customers or investors. After all, this is a great way to put your best foot forward and make a good impression on the folks that help to drive your business.

Getting Creative with Color

No matter where you look, color is all around us. And it can affect our mood positively or negatively, not to mention that of your employees and customers. When you are in the midst of a commercial build out project in Bloomington, you might be thinking about paint colors and how they can affect the mood of your employees and customers. Read on for some information about some popular color choices and how they can influence people’s moods.

Yellow
Most people associate yellow with positive and optimistic feelings. But yellow is one of those colors that most people either love or hate. So we recommend that, if you want yellow in your new commercial space, you confine it to the bathroom or kitchen and just stick with that color in one room.

Blue
Blue is a people-pleaser. It is relaxing but it also does not sacrifice productivity. The color blue is a popular choice for many when they have a commercial build out project going on. And blue comes in so many different and varying shades that you are sure to find the perfect one for your new commercial space.

Red
Red is a color that most businesses should avoid. Studies show that the color red can make people feel more aggressive and impulsive. It can also reduce a person’s ability for critical thinking. Try not to use this color in your commercial build out project, but if you do, confine it to one accent wall and that’s it.

Green
Green is a lot like blue in that it is a relaxing and soothing color, mostly because it brings the outdoor environment to mind (think: trees and grass). It can also encourage creative thinking, so use it for the offices of your innovative thinkers, like your marketing or graphic design department.

Orange
Studies have shown that people associate orange with a good value. So if your commercial build out includes retail space, you might want to consider this color as an option. It might not work for an entire room but it will work well for an accent wall or two. That way, your customers will start to associate your business with a good value!

5 Steps to Get Started on a Commercial Remodeling Project

When you’re thinking about getting started on a commercial remodeling project in Bloomington, there’s a lot to organize! If you’re not quite sure where to start, we’ve provided some tips on how to get started on a commercial remodeling project. We hope to hear from you soon!

1. Evaluate your space. If you just bought a new space, take some time to figure out what you’re working with. Get familiar with your business’ new home. If you’re planning to remodel a space you’ve had for awhile, evaluate what you like and what you don’t like. From there, you can start thinking about what this commercial remodeling project is going to entail.

2. What do you want to accomplish? You must ask yourself this question, as it will help provide direction for the whole project. Do you want to drive more foot traffic? Or is your goal to make it easier for your loyal shoppers to get the most out of their experience? Whatever your end-goals are, make sure they’re clearly defined.

3. Start planning! This could be as simple as starting a list of what needs done. Start by adding things to your plan that you know you definitely want to see. The rest of the plan can be built around those things that are most important to you. If you’re more creative, you could start to draw an initial sketch of the project.

4. Talk it out. Talk over some of your ideas and review some of your plans with a business partner, friends and family. See if they have a gut feeling about the project and if they have any feedback for you right off the bat. Sometimes, some of the most obvious things can get missed when you’ve looked at a project for too long.

5. Call Titus Contracting. Once you’re ready to get started, contact Titus Contracting Inc. We can help you with all your commercial remodeling needs. One of our designers will be able to sit down with you and review what you’re thinking about for the project. From there, we can get started on turning your dreams into a reality!

St Paul Apartment Remodeling Project

We here at Titus Contracting are happy to tell you about an apartment remodeling project in St Paul that we have been working on for the past week.

Bigos Management hired us to remodel The Riverwood! We have spent some time during this apartment remodeling job installing new six-panel white enamel doors that also feature a state-of-the-art keyless Fob entry system. All of the unit doors will feature this cutting-edge technology, ensuring the residents of The Riverwood feel more safe and secure in their apartments.

We also updated the hardware in The Riverwood’s common areas. This hardware has a beautiful brushed nickel finish that is timeless and elegant. There were 106 common area doors and 135 unit entries, which made this a very large project.

The Riverwood is known for its sweeping views of the Mississippi River and its serene and peaceful landscape. This is a lovely apartment complex, and we were happy to help out with this apartment remodeling project. Bigos Management is one of the best management companies in this area, and we were happy to be selected by them for this apartment remodeling project.

The Riverwood is also an award-winning community, and it definitely shows, especially with these new features we just installed. The inside of the community is now just as beautiful as the outside! The views around here are simply breathtaking! Plus the lobby is enormous and the common rooms are absolutely delightful to be in and experience.

We love to take on apartment remodeling projects! Nothing is too big or too small for us, and we love beautifying other people’s surroundings.  A community like this is definitely one of the loveliest ones in this area.

Apartment Renovation in Minneapolis: Columbus Point Apartments

Titus Contracting has just completed yet another apartment renovation in Minneapolis. We refurbished a two-bedroom one-bathroom apartment in a building that was built in the 1920s. Here’s a rundown of everything we did at Columbus Point Apartments.

We refurbished every room in the apartment: the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms, and we even redid the floors too!

We also repainted the entire apartment in neutral tones. The walls in the living room are a soft shade of beige now, and the walls in the bedrooms and bathroom are a relaxing shade of gray. By painting the walls these neutral shades, that will help ensure that the tenants can decorate with whatever furniture and colors they want without it clashing with the paint. The paint in the bathroom now matches the new tiles on the walls and on the floor.

For this apartment renovation job, new windows were installed by us as well. These windows will help the tenants cut down on their utility bills when it comes to heating and cooling the apartment.
We love the layout of this lovely apartment. The kitchen opens up to the dining room/living room area, so it is perfect for entertaining!

We were able to update and modernize the interior of the apartment, and we think this is a good juxtaposition with the exterior of the building, which has still retained its old-fashioned looks and charm. So now the tenants get the best of both worlds – the feel and vibe of an old-fashioned building with the looks of a modern and contemporary apartment. We were happy with the end result of this apartment renovation, and the tenants were too!

So are you in need of an apartment renovation in Minneapolis? Call Titus Contracting today at 952-746-7817! Or you can contact us for a Free Estimate. We can take on just about any apartment renovation job – none are too big or too small for us!

ALL Inc.'s Showroom Remodeling Project in St Paul

We've been working hard on a showroom remodeling project for ALL Inc. They are a leading distributor of cabinets, countertops, appliances and more for the entire Midwest. They work daily with those in the construction and remodeling industries. Because of this, they need a top-of-the-line showroom. Some of their potentially toughest critics walk into their showroom on a daily basis. ALL Inc. needed a top notch remodeling company to pull off the job. This commercial remodeling project in St Paul was something we knew we could handle. Here's our progress so far.

Updated Layout
In this project, the Titus Contracting commercial remodeling team went to work on framing new walls, including new sheet rock and painting. By the time the project is done, the ceiling will be painted black. The new walls allow for a new layout within the showroom, making it more fluid. It will allow for ALL Inc. to set up top notch displays, strategically placed around power sources.

Electrical & HVAC Systems
ALL Inc.'s showroom needed an updated electrical system to accommodate multiple refrigerators running at one time. In their updated showroom, they will be able to display multiple refrigerators and other appliances, without having to worry about the electrical system in place.

Updated Bathroom
The bathroom in this facility got a complete makeover. This bathroom remodeling project included new fixtures, tile, countertops and lights. It is also now ADA-compliant. While not the focal point of the project, it's still an important upgrade to make. Now customers and clients can enjoy the upgraded facility, including a new bathroom.

St Paul Interior Build Out: Converting an Old Warehouse into New Classrooms

We only had about a month to start and finish this project, so saying that we worked as quickly as we could on this project is an understatement. However, we were able to maintain the same level of quality, craftsmanship and customer service as we always do! We here at Titus Contracting would like to share some of the details of this fun project with you. St Paul interior build outs are some of our favorite types of work to do in this area.

This project was for a local school that needed to expand for the arrival of 90 new students. We had until January 15 to finish this project and, seeing as we started it on December 16, we knew it was crunch time on this particular St Paul interior build out. But that’s okay – we work best under pressure, plus it was for a great cause!

One part of this St Paul interior build out project was building new framed out classroom steel studs:

And then we installed new sheet rocking:

To help brighten up an otherwise dark space, we cut out two new exterior windows:

And to top that off, we installed new steel door frames with solid wood doors. We also added a new ceiling, a new roof-top heating and air-conditioning unit, a new electrical system and brand-new lighting.

We were so happy to have the opportunity to give back to the community that has given us so much. We hope the teachers and new students at this school like what we’ve done to the place, and we hope to take on more projects like this St Paul interior build out in the future!
